#Dodgers, #Reds have talked multiple times, sources tell The Athletic. Different packages being discussed; Puig in play as well as other LAD outfielders, pitchers. Dodgers want to clear money for other pursuits. Puig projected $11.3M in arb, per @mlbtraderumors, Alex Wood $9M.

I’m sure the Reds asking for Ender won’t turn into anything, but I’m struggling to find what we would even want in return that would fit.

Per DoB: #Braves aren't close to finalizing any trade or FA signing, Anthopouolos said. Have had many discussions in both areas, but nothing so far that's at price or term they're comfortable with. That goes for starting and relief pitching as well as outfielders, he said.

As much as they value defense, #Braves would be willing to give up a little defense from a good-hitting corner OF because of how good Inciarte is and how much ground he can cover. So if they could get a good corner OF bat with a little below-average D, they'd consider that.

Castellnos projected to get 11 mil in his final arb year. He's terrible on defense, and we'd have to work with him in shifts and whatnot, but he can hit and shouldnt cost much more than a Muller or Wentz plus like Wiegel or something.

JD was a great move but if we have to get a CarGo/Markakis type because of it, im not sure how much upgraded we really are.

we'd be better off getting Jose Martinez from the Cardinals as i suggested than doing that. He'd be cheaper in both money and trade and both would need to be treated like Tucker last year. Martinez also has a strong arm, threw out a Cub late in season at third showing it off. So while he wouldn't be good as far as range, he could throw out some runners on the bases depending on how often he plays in the OF.

Martinez hit the NL East really well last year, his bat is what I like most about him.
