Even at 8m or 10m I'd prefer the other three options.

Yea I’m in that boat of thinking Markakis at $8 million—a bit of a steal if you figure he’s a 1.0–1.5-war cOF still—is nonetheless undesirable. And I think that sort of move is contingent on making a more expensive move at either C or SP, where you concentrate even more value in the next 2-3 years versus longterm. Even the FA options there—basically Keuchel and Grandal—hurt, considering likely contract length and, moreover, forfeiture of draft-slot money. And I think the Braves really need to maximize their returns with this upcoming draft, given their upward trajectory, the international penalties and corollary thinning of lower-level depth, and their failure to sign Stewart last draft.

According to MLBTR, Grandal turned down 4/60 from the Mets before they signed Ramos. Time will tell if that was a wise choice.

Are we being serious? Cargo hasn't had a wRC+ above 100 since 2016 despite benefitting from Coors to the tune of a .941 OPS at home as opposed to a .663 OPS on the road.

Cargo should not even be a fall back option for us.

0.4 War Same player as Markakis to me. We have light hitters at C,SS, and CF. Do we need another one in LF?
Flowers can't hit RHP and McCann can't hit LHP. Ender can't hit LHP and I'm not sure what Dansby can hit.

I believe wRC+ control for ballpark. Cargo is pretty similar to Muk.

Since December 2015:

Cargo 98 wRC+ vs righties away from coors.

26 wRC+ vs lefties away from Coors.

Negative defender.

I’d rather sign most anyone else.
