Maybe AA has known the injury situation is a lot more fragile and on the rocks than we knew about. Maybe it’s why the just shut down after McCann and JD...I really stood by the FO thinking something big was gonna happen. Losing JTR hurt... I felt like if we added him we would be adding more and more. Now I’m not sure we should add at all because honestly, if we sign Kimbrel AND Keuchel we are barely back to square 1... maybe a little better... punt the year and see if your young guys can catch fire. Save the pick(s)...

I’m sorry but what a **** attitude. Shut down and play for 2020 before game 1? GTFO. I’m frustrated like the rest of you guys that we didn’t do much, but quitting before the season starts is a terrible attitude to have. Go root for the Yanks or Red Sox if that’s gonna be your attitude.

Wow.I didn’t get the vibe he said he was giving up on the season at all.He just stated he wouldn’t add anyone and focus on the young players and hope they play good which is exactly what the Braves are doing. They've pretty much stated they aren’t going to go after anyone until midway thru the season because they value “Payroll flexibility” which pretty much means we want to see what we have before committing more resources and eating up some of our profits.I don’t see the ****ty attitude in what he said...

If that doesn’t say giving up on the season I don’t know what does.

Andres Blanco had a big day at the plate today. If he makes the team, I think the Braves should nab Gregor Blanco as their 4th OF if the Mets let him go, steal Nationals' bullpen coach Henry Blanco to be our bullpen coach, and then sign El Oso Blanco.

Year of the Blanco

Will have a bigger impact than BiLe.

I have a question for the group.

Everyone seems to be drinking the Phillies are best kool aid right now. What’s an example of a team that brought in its 4 best players in the off season (Cutch, JTR, Segura and Harper) and made the play offs? I’m having a hard time thinking of a team that bought itself into the playoffs.

There is no team in baseball under more pressure than the Phillies. It will be interesting to see how Harper handles the pressure. Throughout the years the Nats have always seemed to have clubhouse drama. Wonder how much of that was Harper?

I’m disappointed by AA’s off seasons moves. But the more I listen to some of the brain dead XM MLB Network guys talk about how bad the Braves did it makes me think AA maybe ok. Usally doing the opposite of what the XM guys think is a good thing.

Didn’t the Marlins do that?

If anything....the lack of moves takes the pressure off of us. We are the division winners, but no one will be saying we are the “team to beat”. Many would argue we are 3rd or 4th in the division.

That’s a plus because we should have the same mentality as last year. We should play with a chip on our shoulder because no one will pick us, even though we are the division champs.

We still very much have a chance to win the division...we just need a few more things to go our way.

Way to completely make up something new I said in your head... slow claps for you. Thankfully it was quite clear what I said to most people... reading and comprehension are skills...
