BABIP will fall some but he's probably going to have an above average BABIP with his skill set. He's probably a 2.5 WAR - 3 WAR guy. That's got value.
I also like Ender better, I just wish we could have found a way to use both. Mallex is fun to watch.
I had to look it up. Mallex had the 4th highest BABIP (.366) in Baseball last year. No way his hit tool can sustain that. Remember Chris Johnson?
Here is an interesting note. The Rays had players with the 4th, 10th and 11th highest BABIP last year. None of those guys would be considered great hitters. Rays may take a big step back this year.
