I'm dropping the AA stuff. This isn't the thread. I've been called an idiot before and been proven right (calling Estrada overrated, hating signing Derek Lowe, thinking Wren was a terrible GM choice). I'll wait to be proven right about AA. With drafts this bad I won't have to wait long.

We could have had Carroll and Espino. Will be interesting to see how this works out over the years. Won't know for sure for 3-5 years. But at this moment, this is a failed first round.

That logic breaks down when you realize they could have just taken that guy at 21, and got a similar SS at 60.

Allen and Leiter are out there as overslot possibilities.

I read somewhere the Braves had interest in him with one site speculating they might take him a #9 and go considerably underslot. Big-time power numbers, but not a great conference outside of perennial powerhouse East Carolina.

Every one is talking about the framing skills of the Stephen King guy. Is there a stat on game calling? I know many calls are made by the dugout, or off of a wrist card, but what about general game calling. It has been reported that McCann is a very good game caller while Flowers gets a lot of negativity on calling.

Go to bed, you're upset over the draft, but AA is a fine GM. Yes he inherited a good situation but saying he's done nothing good to improve the team is beyond stupid.
