2019 MLB Draft Thread

Shewmake's mannerisms and swing remind me of Hunter Pence. He doesn't seem to have close to the same amount of power though.

Shea was the 9th-11th projected player on alot of boards. Not really a reach but low ceiling, high floor.

Shew, i cant defend, given the players available.

Pence is good. Craig Counsell comes to mind for me. Not the weird set up of Counsell, more the scrawniness and slap hitter swing.

I hope what I am saying doesn't come off as complaining. I halfway expected Langeliers the way the draft fell to them, but the Shewbake pick is a bit of a head-scratcher. But I don't know how to grade these guys.
 
Good thing we didn’t have as many picks as Arizona or we’d end up with a whole class of utility players.
 
This draft, to me, has been worse than any I can remember since i started following it closely.

Langeliers, Shewmake, and Philip. My God what a ****pile of a haul for having two first round picks.
