2019 MLB Draft Thread

Hey I kinda like this pick. A switch hitting two way player with solid all around tools. It doesn't make up for the first three rounds, but I think this is the type of upside pick we should have been targeting all along.

Agreed. Let him try to hit, if it doesn't work, throw him on the mound.

I wasn’t expecting it to start in round 3, but if we go with the bunch of talented prep players to fill the lower minors route, I’ll be pretty jazzed.

We probably shouldn't complain about reaches. It looks like the White Sox drafted the late chef James Beard with the third pick in the 4th round. Maybe they wanted his recipes for the post-game spread.

Seems about right here. I wonder if we'll have to go overslot to sign him. Seeing as he's a local kid I'm not sure we will.

Don’t know much about this kid but the write ups seem to like him plenty. Would think there’s plenty of money to sign him as well

Cronin to the Nats. Was really hoping we'd take him in a few picks. He's going to be in their big league pen soon.

I saw that kid play at Loyd Star. He's got a LOT of upside as a Billy Hamilton type of player with a better bat.
