Well it seemed like the Marlins wanted Acuna or no deal when a deal could have made with pitchers and Pache or something. Which fits their TL better.

Yea they could've had a package including Pache from us but instead took less from the Brewers.

They didn't take less from the Brewers. Binson has not panned out at all but he was a top ranked prospect for a reason.

Interesting to me to hear passan on the espn broadcast say the prices now are crazy.

I don’t think teams are going to give up to 50 guys unless it’s for 3 plus years of control for a stud.

You are going to have to scout the 40 and 45 really well to get a good return.

I’m still on the Starling Marte train. He has 2 teams options for 20 & 21 at 11.5 and 12.5 million. I really doubt he resigns with Pittsburg at the end of those 2 years and they aren’t winning that division anytime soon so they may be willing.

Less than 45 hrs to deadline. We've heard nothing but less than believable rumors. My thoughts are AA doesn't do much. Deals in the lower tiers but NO big names like Thor, Giles, Diaz, etc

The only shame in that is that it'll always suck to wonder "what might have been"?

Of course that's not really a big deal - can't remember anyone ever *itching about Gonzalez not using Kimbrel in 2013. Certainly no one here.
