I'll tell you this.....I won't be spending another dollar on a ticket for the Braves this season.

This is extremely annoying, I agree.
But...If Folty is throwing mid-90s, he's a Major league pitcher.
I'd be ok beating the Clevinger deal. The Padres moved middle of the road guys in their system (good system to be fair) and ok MLB players.
That's what you do. Ideally you are not moving the top guys in your system. For me that is Pache, Waters, the Catchers and maybe Shewmake. The rest of the guys you deal from.
I would have thought someone would want the long term potential (7th inning guy?) and control of Ynoa over some of the other guys traded today.
Again, Waters (By himself) has more value than all those guys combined, and I’m not even that big on Waters. I bet Cleveland fans are sick. Most likely all end up bench players unless they get very lucky.
DOB: Anthopoulos said Folty's weight is up and he threw plenty of 94-mph fastballs last time out at Gwinnett, up from his 88-89 before he got DFA'd. Also said Bryse Wilson and Kyle Wright both throwing ball better down there, made adjustments.
LOLOLOL
Still cant believe Padres got Clevinger for that package. They kept most of their top prospects.
Braves could have beat the Padres package but it wouldnt have been for the guys you think it was.
Boycott the Braves
We have to take a stand
The nerds of the world are running amok demanding we be "competitive" over a long period instead of going for the flag.
FLAGS MATTER. THAT'S WHY YOU PLAY THE GAME.
Naylor? Really?
Then why isn't Acuna playing?

This thread reminds me of game threads back during the rebuild.
Guys... The sun will come up tomorrow and there is a bunch of baseball still to be played.
curious why you think that. Do you think the young MLB players the Padres moved were the key?
I doubt we could do that deal and keep the catchers and Waters. One of them would have had to be in it. Padres traded a good amount, not like they traded scraps. More surprised Indians went for quanity over quality package.
I mean if Hamels is close, and Folty is throwing mid 90's, that's probably better than anything we could add. But could be just be GM speak.
