Yeah I got so much pity for you there. It's not like your lord and savior was President despite getting 3 million less votes than one of the most despised women in America.
My opinion is this is a decision best left to the families with advice of their doctors, including psychologists.
But I think it is reasonable to hold the view that government should regulate genital surgery so it doesn't happen while a person is a minor.
I have been very close friends with a family that has a child (now adult) that is biologically a girl but identified as a boy. I've known the child since age 3. I have a great deal of respect for how that family has handled the situation.
I thank thee for the "education."
By the way you are not wrong that I am dealing with a small group of students who don't understand the value of doing the assigned reading. I've tried to gently explain to them that doing the reading will help them in various ways.
But how would you vote on this issue? That’s more interesting than whether or not you think the discussion is reasonable
My experience has been different. The overwhelming majority of students are eager to learn. They are well-grounded and understand that their education is going to make a difference in their lives including what kind of jobs they get and how much they get paid. I repeat the word incentives very often to them. For example, I incentivize class participation in various ways and spell it out for them very clearly. They get it. But then I teach at a school of business administration. Might be a bit different at schools with a different emphasis.I have heard many stories of the great lengths students will go not to actually learn.
My wife is PhD who taught many undergrad courses (related note: this is another reason higher ed is a farce. Poorly paid grad students do all the work) & her father and sister professors. I have heard many stories of the great lengths students will go not to actually learn.

Holy ****, Mehmet Oz says that incest is no big deal, and that his daughters don't want to have sex with him because they don't like his smell.
I don't live in PA (neither does he) but I'd guess their residents want better than an incest-loving carpetbagger.

Things will get worse and this regime will continue to break laws and try to stop a free and fair election from happening.
hopefully someday conservatives will develop their own technological and entrepreneurial capacities so they are in a position to indulge in similar accidental slipups
until the arrival of that blessed day...
