2022 Trade Deadline

Mets actually making smart moves is concerning. Not trading top prospects for rentals, and adding solid depth pieces. Still a ways to go since moves will be coming out once the deadline passes.

Yeah there's not much difference in Odo and Thor. Philly probably overpaid too.

It doesn’t look like Happ or Contreras are going anywhere due to the Cubs asking price. Why would you want AA to over pay?

To win lol. It depends on the price of course. But sometimes you have to give more at the deadline to get better.

I really feel part is the issue is that do the Braves even have the available roster spots to upgrade? Who are we going to remove from the current roster? Heredia and Stephens? Heredia leaves us without a backup CF and Stephens is out of Options and hasn't been bad. Unfortunately Ozuna and Rosario kind of hand cuffed us

Acuna could be a backup CF and get over it if he doesn’t like that. It may simply be an issue of asking price. I like Chavez and Stephens, but there were better dudes available.
