Cotton may be right about this particular issue (I'm not much on the whole culture war thing) but trust me when I tell you that Trump was the biggest "live and let live" guy ever compared with Cotton. He is to being obeyed with no questions asked or allowed what Trump was/is to putting his kids in key positions. Stay away from this dude at all costs.

if you are going to point out some ones record, at least get it correct.

I being the only other on this forum to point out Biden did resign in 1988, he stayed in the political wilderness for 20 years then resurrected his ambitions by pointing out all Rudy says ( then front runner for (R) is a noun a verb and 9/11.

Yeah, that's a really, really bad characterization of that bill. The bill requires surveys. The surveys can even be anonymous if the school wishes.

There is definitely a problem of intellectual diversity on many college campuses. I've seen it first hand. And that has a negative impact on education. I'm not sure this bill is the right way to address it though. The fact that you have legislatures having to address it shows how badly many universities' leadership has failed.
 
We simply can’t just sit back and allow these loser Marxist academics poison the minds of our youth. This is why governmental power must be used to save conservatism.

This is great news. With the current push for diversity I expect this to get bipartisan support.
 
I look forward to seeing who gets to decide what 'indoctrinating' means. If Florida schools refuse to teach that the 2020 election was stolen, are they going to lose funding because they indoctrinated students?
 
Now that you say that, I don't recall DeSantis ever talking about it. I hope he hasn't. He has an easy out of just referring to the election improvements that have been made in Florida.

It's an interesting tightrope for him to have to walk. He has claimed that the election in Florida was the best in the country and had no issues, but then proposed significant changes to the election infrastructure. I'm not sure how long you can go without at some point answering the question of 'was the 2020 election stolen'. It looks like he was asked last week and dodged the question- that is going to get tougher and tougher for him to do if he's going to be a serious candidate in the primary.
