There are a lot more trucks that can legally be used in FL than in CA. The older trucks that are banned in CA are also commonly used by smaller outfits, so they're less likely to have union restrictions. The problem is that many of the US bound cargo ships are built for the Asia to CA trip, so they don't fit through the Panama Canal.

Next ten years would be a good time to completely move the supply chain over to the Western Hemisphere.

Getting more Mexicans jobs would make it easier to stabilize that nation as well.

Virginia has become a solid blue state, so just a close race is remarkable. I still only give Youngkin about a 10% chance of winning, but it's nice to see that CRT in schools has given him at least a 5 point bump. That bodes well for the next two Novembers.

I don't blame him. The current admin and policies are doing a fairly good job keeping the GOP guy in it. As long as that holds, I'd keep my distance.
