That's it? What am I missing here? We had some garbage AAAA relievers we could have given up
There has to be more. Zerpa is the least useful player known in the trade so far.

None of them are that useful. Collin’s might be a useful 4th outfielder or platoon player. There has to be more. Zerpa is the least useful player known in the trade so far.
Collins was a 2.6 fWAR rookie in 130 games... would have been a nice get but we got Yaz which is also a good get.I’m confused. It’s garbage for garbage. Who cares?
He can really only play corner OF and is only a threat against RHP, which we don’t need. He was also a 28 year old rookie who was carried by an absurd BABIP for most of last year. Nice walk rate though. Mears is a nothing burger.Collins was a 2.6 fWAR rookie in 130 games... would have been a nice get but we got Yaz which is also a good get.
Oh, are we re-doing 2024?Yeah I wouldn’t have minded having Collins while our left fielder was suspended last year.
If you believe that’s what he will be going forward.I personally think KC did an amazing job getting a cheap 2.5-3 WAR OFer for an average at best AAAA reliever
It's a decent gamble. But Collins isn't likely gonna be a 2-3 fWAR player.I personally think KC did an amazing job getting a cheap 2.5-3 WAR OFer for an average at best AAAA reliever
The nothing part is my pointIt's a decent gamble. But Collins isn't likely gonna be a 2-3 fWAR player.
But they gave up essentially nothing.
Yeah but that GM is now with the MetsIt doesn’t really matter how good you think Collins is. KC got the 2 best players in a 3 player trade. It’s a very odd swap from the brewers who are usually extremely competent.
What? It absolutely matters how good Collins is or any of these guys are. And I don’t think any of them move the needle at all.It doesn’t really matter how good you think Collins is.
