There has to be more. Zerpa is the least useful player known in the trade so far.

This trade doesn’t make any sense. There must be something else involved.

There has to be more. Zerpa is the least useful player known in the trade so far.

None of them are that useful. Collin’s might be a useful 4th outfielder or platoon player.

Collins was a 2.6 fWAR rookie in 130 games... would have been a nice get but we got Yaz which is also a good get.

Yeah I wouldn’t have minded having Collins while our left fielder was suspended last year.

He can really only play corner OF and is only a threat against RHP, which we don’t need. He was also a 28 year old rookie who was carried by an absurd BABIP for most of last year. Nice walk rate though. Mears is a nothing burger.

It's a decent gamble. But Collins isn't likely gonna be a 2-3 fWAR player.

What? It absolutely matters how good Collins is or any of these guys are. And I don’t think any of them move the needle at all.
