Riley has been steadily declining since his peak in 2022, his age 25 season. I've compared him to Uggla before, and I really hope I'm wrong (which is likely since the comp was based on no actual data). That contract through 2032 could become a real problem when he's making $22M in his mid-30s.

This was the worst extension on paper.
Being projected as a top 5 team is why it’s so important AA builds enough depth to protect the floor of this season. Just like it was important last year about this time.
I think Harris will be fine. He’s still so young. Ozzie unfortunately seems like a total question mark to me.
Before his most recent wrist injury, I’d say we could say the same about Ozzie.

29 days until pitchers and catchers report. Today would be a great day for AA not to wait around and figure out if guys are healthy and get a starting pitcher when there are still good ones to be had.

I mean, we all would love to see the team open the purse more..
I didn't realize the Braves brought in that much revenue. I wonder how much of that gets put back into the battery and other real estate investments?
