Another bat please. Right now, the bottom 4 of the lineup is Albies post injury, Yaz/White platoon, Harris and Dubon. Woof. Also means the bench has little depth again for half the season.

Dude let me be clear... I dont hire ICs anymore. I did 6 years ago when you had your original meltdown with me... but I've since gotten to a point where I have teams who hire teams who hire ICs. I suppose I could intervene and say "guys, we're not hiring the prick who codes online poker games" but otherwise I dont involve myself in such low level decision making anymore

If you had any authority you could post a link to a rec and tell someone to use you as a reference to guarantee an initial interview…I promise I could, and I have no hiring authority…yet actual real sway.

When the subject matter experts talk, worthless bags of wind like you are expected to shut up and sit quietly in the corner. When all the actual work is done, parasites like you can start flapping your double chin and figure out how to sell my inventions, implementations and other content.

I’m technical program manager and I can confirm that my type are the bane of the existence of the engineers I work with who would prefer their job be an extension of their PhD programs.

We need each other just like we need to this board to focus on the real problems such as “did Kim actually slip on ice?” Or “is AA having a a good or average offseason?”

Youre probably right that ICs dont like me bc I ask them to do more than online poker games to drive value for our shareholders. Most ICs dont love the higher ups

I actually value working with our program managers, or what I assume is our equivalent position. They provide the context about which ideas/inventions are viable options that customers want, and are invaluable in deciding where to focus our efforts.

Your position produces guidance on what to build, which is just as important as how to build it.

I don’t see an impact hitter being added. I’m expecting a Brujan type of utility guy with a light bat who can be cut when Kim returns. CF and 2B are the only obvious upgrade spots and both are filled by extended players. Add in the 3rd tier penalties being fairly close and I just don’t see the path to upgrade the offense. I still expect AA is at least trying to acquire a a good starting pitcher in a trade.
