Sale
Strider
Lopez (yikes)
Elder
Holmes (yikes)

Even if you have confidence in Sale and Strider staying healthy and being elite. There’s a case the Braves need to add three starting pitchers to replenish the little depth they’ve already lost 1 week into spring.

Prepare for the JR Ritchie fluff pieces. I like the kid a lot, but he’s not the answer a contending team should accept.
Already saw a JR Ritchie fluff piece from CBS Sports yesterday.

I don't understand how this is possible lol like I do, but to this extent is insane. And AA just acting like he's so big brained his pissing me off even more.

Waldrep's elbow is acting up wow. Loose bodies in there don't sound good at all so I'm gonna expect the worst. I've never seen anything like this and ST just started. He says money isn't an issue and neither is the QO but Cease would look pretty good on the team right now.

It’s not good but it’s not the end of the world. If Waldrep needs surgery after recovering and a ST type ramp up we’d be looking at getting him back in June

Waldrep going to see an elbow specialist is usually the kiss of doom. Waldrep was probably gonna start the year in AAA before Schwellenbach went down and is our biggest depth piece. That's shot now so AA is really gonna look desperate and you can't trade Ritchie at this point.

I’m just quoting what the recovery time for this injury as described. Its 2-3 months closer to 3 for pitchers plus adding in a ST build up

March->April->May is 3 months plus June for build up.

We're being a little facetious about calling everything a kiss of doom lol likely because of our shit luck. But this stuff does happen all the time, especially in the offseason. It's just heightened

Not really Unc. The way the last few years have gone, we assume, think and know there will be injuries. However the 'hope' and 'pray' strategic angle employed by AA and company is complete bs. I'd rather you say we can only operate in xxx amount than to bs us with "we have money to spend" shyt. No one is that gullible right?

The part that bothers me is they don't know a timetable part. They are gonna wait to see what the specialist says. Hopefully it's good news for a change.

This is my fault guys. I've talked so much shit about Elder this off-season and how he would for sure be cut by opening day since he was out of options and was the 8 the best SP option.

150 innings from Elder incoming.
