If Murphy can find consistency around 94 MPH, that vertical break is going to play up like crazy. Either way, he, Ritchie and Baumann have flashed even more advanced stuff than I expected coming into the spring.

I saw Murphy top at 94 in his first inning, but it was all 90-92 in the second inning and the 92s were not frequent. Still looked really good though.

I think he is saying SS elected the braces for a partial where Holmes just rested it. But it is not apples to apples regardless. Different point in season. Probably different tear. Who knows what else.

Yeah but SS’s options were either TJS #2 or the brace… resting for him wasn’t considered an option. I very seriously doubt all partial tears are the same… especially when you’ve already had TJS.
