9/13 GAME DAY thread ... Game Two vs Nats

Then why not talk about the countless other young pitchers that sucked early in their career and continued to suck until they dropped out of the league?

It's stupid to compare poorly performing pitchers to HOF caliber guys who struggled early. Oh, and Scherzer barely struggled.

The nature of pitching prospect is that most won't become stars... in fact most won't make it at all. They are just saying not to give up hope if they are not stars right our of the gate. They didn't say all or even most will eventually make it. They just said be patient.

I say we dump/trade/send to the glue factory both Kemp and Neck and just play anyone else in LF.. heck a D-Pete/Adams platoon would make me happier. Have jo-gun as a super utility guy who can sub in LF when Ender needs a night off.

Gohara has to be one of our 5 starters next year. He may be our best starter already.

I am sure both will be on the market this off-season. I think we all hope they are successful.

Gohara's control is on point tonight. Let's see how it holds up past the 60 pitch mark.

While it'd be nice to see how well he'd hold up, I'd rather take him out this inning. End the night on a good note and limit his innings.

It's crazy to spend so much attention to a guy at first. Just get the guy out in front of you and you're good.

Kemp and Neck are going to be nearly $30M of next year's payroll... I can't imagine a scenario in which we kick them to the curb
