Around Baseball 2015 Edition

Haven't been paying attention for basically the last two weeks. Had no idea the Blue Jays were on a tear like they are. Also that the Nats are in danger of not making the playoffs.

Greinke, Kershaw, Felix, Archer, Sale, Scherzer, Price, and MadBum are my top 8. I don't think both Harvey and deGrom are in the top 10. Maybe not even one of of them is. They are both great pitchers though.

Yes, they do...

deGrom is but Harvey isn't

Matt Harvey of 2 years ago, sure......not 2015 though. He probably gets back to that form but he's certainly not there this year.

Pitchers that have been better, in no order:

Kershaw
deGrom
Zack
Sale
Max
Kazmir
Dallas
Cueto
Garrit Cole
Price
Archer
Kluber
Arrietta
Gray
MadBum
Carrasco
Felix
Lynn
Zimm
Wacha
Lester

Shocker you didnt put Shelby there.

Looking forward to you spinning the stats i posted you if you respond.

Harvey has a 2.61 ERA, he struggled for a bit post-TJ but he's been dominating his past few starts.

2.61 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, 134 K's, 31 walks, 145 IP, with a 3.7 WAR in the NL (7th highest) looks like a top 10 SP to me if you figure he'll have a good end to the year.

He's also had a high Left On Base% and really low BABIP against. Things genereally not sustainable. His FIP is in like the 3.30 range which is good but not ace level. Of course he has all the talent in the world and I suspect he will get somehwere close to his 2013 numbers in the future but he's not that pitcher right now.
