Around the Majors - 2022 Version

Just saw that the Nationals are starting a pitcher tomorrow that already has 10 losses in just 12 games started -- Joan Adon. He is only 23-years-old.

Milwaukee reminds me so much of the Braves in 2014. That team is prime for a major fire sale this winter if they miss the playoffs.

Sad thing for the fans they have is with that starting rotation and bullpen, all they really need is 2 bats and they would be one of the better teams but finacial restraints won’t let them get to that point before they can’t hold on to the pitching when they are due to get paid.

Big time mistake giving Yelich that contract. Dude completely fell off the grid after breaking his knee.

I thought this from the first day of the season. Think come Mid-July they'll be shopping their players.

With expanded playoffs, they’ll be right there (I think they are better than Philly and San Francisco). Woodruff and Peralta hurt and struggling has really hurt them.

You have to think Rosario will replace Ford when the time comes.

What value does ford bring? We don't PH, and even if we do, it'll be TDA/Contreras/ozuna depending on who the catcher and DH are that day. Seems like a MIF would be more beneficial. Don't guess it matters much since the braves don't give days off

I wouldn't be shocked if AA brings in Strange-Gordon. He'd get him for the prorated league minimum. You can put him on the bench with the occasional spot start. Used mainly as a late inning pinch runner

I would have brought up Tromp so you can DH Contreras with no worries.

Actually forgot the team was utilizing this to carry an extra pitcher. Assumed Herredia was on the way out once Rosario was back. But with this it's clearly going to be Ford and Herredia is likely to stay.
