Apparently it’s broken - and he’s out for a coupla months …watching MLB network - and they saying philly gonna have to make a trade or two ….
With what?
With what?
Figures. I just voted for the All Star team for the first time this year literally minutes ago and Harper was on my ballot.
With what?
They are already at the luxury tax threshold and have heretofore shown little interest spending past it. I can’t imagine they would do it with Harper out.Surely they'll take on a bad contract
Phillies should take the opportunity to sell. Realmuto, Wheeler, and Nola. Move off some money, get some assets, and restock the farm.
They have financial resources to sign free agents this off-season if they are desperate to win. But it’s obviously not working going all in with this roster core.

Goodness… Dansby is up to 3.6 fWAR… not even halfway through and he’s got more fWAR than any full year of his career. Keep it up Dans. May end up best SS in the NL
Probably going to be the most interesting re-sign/don't re-sign case of AA's tenure - possibly even more so than Freeman.
With Smith and Duvall coming off the books, could they afford to go 5/75? And would he take it??? If Strider goes back to the pen and Yates returns to health there should be plenty of money available to offer that - especially if Jansen isn't brought back. Could then pivot and make a run at one of Manaea or Clevinger with Kenley's money.
5/75 lol
You aren’t even close
Yeah somebody will give him over 100 million easily. And we can afford pretty much anybody AA wants.
Dansby going to get paid like a 4 WAR SS over 5 years.
