Best thing they could do for him and us is short IL trip, let the inflammation go down and have him back healthy as he’s going to be for the playoffs.
I still can’t believe they run him back out in the field the other night.

At this point would he even be ready to contribute? Coming off injury, didn't even have a normal spring training to ramp up, and there is only a month left. I doubt he could be counted on for much.

Best thing they could do is get someone who understands how to regulate his workload.

You know, someone who understands he had major knee surgery, and stealing bases and running through stop signs when up by 6 runs isn't nearly as valuable as keeping him healthy? Maybe someone who isn't a complete bumbling idiot that everyone loves because he doesn't actually regulate anything?

Literally nothing Acuna can do on the bases is more valuable to the franchise than keeping that knee healthy. Every single time this year Acuna has tweaked something has been during a useless baserunning action. It is absurd these coaches are so inept.

The fact that he's running through stop signs makes me think it might not be 100% on the coaches. It's possible that they are begging him to play more conservatively, but it's just not in Acuna's nature. I'm just saying it's possible that Acuna could be going rogue here.

That's the way it appears to me. Acuna is going to be Acuna and not be told what to do. He's a star and they just let him play the game how he wants. I could be way off but I have no other explanation
 
Ex-Braves all over the free feeds today. Waters v. Andrus and Joey Meneses v. Langeliers. Meneses continues his hot hitting with a first-inning RBI.

Waters made a really nice catch at the wall against the White Sox and has been on base all three times he's been up (single, double, catcher's interference). Waters really has the "look," but he made a baserunning blunder and looks to be a little pull-happy as a LHH. Kid has some wheels, but you can't steal first.

Marisnick's not a bad pick-up, but could he even be considered for the post-season? I don't know all the rules anymore.
