With Headley, Rios, and Morse gone it's getting tough to find anyone that'll make much of an impact.
 
Butt ugly list of position players. Curious to see how the pitching market treats that group. My guess is everyone is waiting on Scherzer and Shields and agents will try to peg off those deals.

That being said, I wish we had KJ to play 2B platoon, won't happen since we signed freaking Callaspo who was an absolute waste of a roster space last season.

Wondered about KJ a little myself. My guess would be that his asking price started at a higher number than Callaspo's and Hart & Company didn't feel like wasting much time negotiating with someone who wouldn't take the first offer presented to them since Peraza conceivably could be ready by midseason.
 
While there aren't any impact players, there are a few that could work as half a platoon. Hart could be after a backend SP, a backup C if Gattis is traded, a LHed platoon partner for at 3B for CJ, another option for CF in the likely event BJ sucks again next year, and platoon parts for LF if JUp is traded and depending on if the return includes an OFer that needs a platoon partner.

Those pieces are certainly still out there.
 
I bet Hart is sitting in his office right now just wondering which player he could sign that would piss off even more of the fans on Chop Country.
