Yep. Quiet mechanics. Stays back. Really firm front side and finishes high. Only minor criticism I've read is that he is a bit pull-happy.
He is solidly built. Always difficult to discern weights, but he sure doesn't look like he weighs 215 pounds. Solidly built kid.
PS--I could never hit, but I have read a lot about hitting and if you look at Davidson's swing from the side, you will see that his right leg is straight on impact and there is a straight line from his right ankle to his right shoulder. There's a bit of a knee bend when he opens his swing, but that straightens out and his front side firms up. When a player has bad mechanics, the line at impact isn't straight and that's when you experience a higher rate of injuries. Davidson has darn near perfect hitting mechanics for a high school kid.
