Getting closer to done

Love all these club options AA seems to be sneaking into these contracts over the last year or so.

The club options are awesome. Aa is the continued ability to announce every deal via press release. The Passans of the world seem to have every other deal figured out before it’s announced, but the Braves announce every deal themselves.

This means so Soler. I would have wanted to pay more to get Soler, a clearly better bat who looked like he made legitimate improvements with the bat. Was really impressed with his plate discipline. And Soler is insurance in case Ozuna happens to suck.

Actually Rosario pretty much scooped this one on his IG lol

My personal view - If our generational talent isn't able to play field with no issues, then he just shouldn't be playing. Alternatively we are just being overly cautious holding him out and he should be hitting and playing the field. DH still involves running the bases.

No problem with this deal. Rosario isn't a star but not everyone on your roster has to be a star.

Rosario really showed out in the 95 PAs after he was activated from the DL. I don't expect a .900 OPS like he put up after he was activated but used correctly I think he could be extremely valuable.

We needed a LH bat. I don't think he's an impact bat, but he's good.

We expect an OPS of 750-780, right? With the OBP in the 300-320 range?

Decent defense. I know he had one bad metric year but I think he's ok.

Had some injuries but only 30. Ideally the main side of a platoon with Duvall but unlikely we'll get there.

I like it. Surprised we had to guarantee a second year.

Not when you are the beast and you hit dingers.

I'm with you in spirit. If I have any doubt I protect him. But if the doctors are ok, I can see it. My worry is he goes crazy on the base paths and stresses the leg out. But he seems like he's full go based on his posted videos and comments.

Are they just making sure he doesn't run into a wall?
