It's OVER 5,000!
The Indians are still looking for outfield help, I'd talk with them about a deal involving Nick Markakis and we can throw in Boni for free. This would clear room for other outfield options too.

The underlying assumption is that Swisher isn't even in the running for that last spot and that Garcia and Bourn are shoo-ins. Bowman's been writing all spring that Swisher is a gonner. I'm not so sure.
Sometimes these decisions get deferred by a mysterious late spring training injury.
Sometimes managerial sentiment comes into play. My reading is the players Fredi "likes" are Beckham, Bourn and Francoeur. Those are the guys he seems to talk up. Jace is in that group too. The guys he seems to "like less" are Garcia, Bonifacio and Swisher.
With respect to starting pitching it now looks like four spots are spoken for: Teheran, Wisler, Norris and Chacin. Fifth spot is between Banuelos, Baby Harang, Folty and Gant. Probably in that order of chances though it is very close between the first two.
Give me Banuelos or give me death.
So no one giving Brignac a shot at making the team?
Is this true (from mlbtraderumors Braves offseason writeup)?
"There’s some room for critique here, as Atlanta could have pursued more compelling rotation pieces if it’s serious about putting a solid product on the field in 2016. After all, the organization’s current projected Opening Day payroll projects to land south of $75MM for the first time in the 21st century."
He's a lefty and behind Kelly Johnson and Jace.
With all of the money we've taken on and offloaded over the past year it's hard to say what our payroll obligations actually are. We might be fielding guys owed $75 million but be paying more than that. Also, we're going to go into the international market big time this year so I'd be surprised if we didn't shift some money from our payroll this year to that.

Lucroy thought he was almost traded a month ago, too. The Brewers were engaged in talks involving the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros in a three-way deal that failed to materialize. The Brewers have attached an exorbitant price tag on Lucroy’s value, and who can blame them? Lucroy, an All-Star catcher in 2014, is being paid just $4.25 million this year with a $5.25 million option in 2017. Yet, until someone is willing to meet their demands, he remains a Brewer.
This is interesting . . .

It is indeed. I wonder if we would have been getting Lucroy or if Houston would have. My guess is that Houston would have gotten Lucroy, we would have given a couple pieces to both Milwaukee and Houston, and that we would have gotten a young guy or two from Houston.

A part of me wonders if it might've been something along of the lines of:
Astros get Lucroy
Brewers get Inciarte and an arm (the MLBTR piece about the deal mentions Ender might've been in it)
Braves get Daz Cameron and Domingo Santana
The Brewers would've then kept Khris Davis to pair with Inciarte and Braun.
