While this is not the case of trillions of dollars being stolen, I applaud the decision to strictly enforce this requirement. Spending will not decrease if the federal government is run like a business that doesn’t monitor its expense reports.

The US doesn't have a problem making/collecting money.

When a company is going bankrupt, you don't advise them the solution is simply to make more money. You tell them to tighten their pant strings and cut their spending.
