That's literally what (D) and (R) have done, and continue to do, this entire century. It's the one thing they have most in common.
Someone should tell you that something like this innovation wouldn’t stop under a different system that results in better outcomes for the majority of the people in the country.

Yeah - I agree the establisment has made decisions that are worse for the people. You aren’t going to get an argument out of me.
But those decisions were facilitated by the pure system you espouse. It’s the end result. Not a textbook depiction.

That's the key point. There's no magic bullet to eliminate "collusion between wealthy & government," but one thing we might want to try is a smaller, less influential government, reducing avenues to rent seeking. The MAGA answer seems to be "just trust us, we're the good guys."

A smaller government with less power over everything reduces the incentives for wealthy and corps to buy them off. It's not complicated
