It looks like you are right Z. Brown, understandably has picked up the SE, but Shaheen has the west and poorer counties.

The fact that Brown was close showed how bad the turnout was. Shaheen would have crushed on a presidential year. We've pretty much had a set trend developing where Dems take control in presidential then conceed it during the others. Which is how this rout was more or less set up. Between upset with Obama and a harder midterm focus, Reps have had a wave.

Yep. Nate Silver had his highest percentage going into the election at 53 for the pubs. So he was pretty damn close. I guess VA is still in play. That is shocking. It's not shocking that the pubs won NC and KS, but this close race in VA is just unbelieveable.
 
Man... listening to Ernst who did the liberals run? Good heavens. I'm not impressed. I was very impressed by Tillis in NC, but crap. Ernst reminds me of the weirdo chick form the Wedding Crashers in this video I'm watching right now.

NC was no certainty. VA's county vote map is fascinating. Hard to see how Warner pulled enough votes out of that. Rs have to be happy with CO, IA, NC, WV, & VA.

What an incredible race by Gillespie. I mean he made up at least 7 points or so by that Redskins ad.
 
Have to wait another 10 years for the millenials that Bedell hates so much to dominate the electorate.

Republicans will get destroyed in 2016 if they continue whatever is is they've been doing the last 6 years.

So I assume you have the same opinion of Ernst as I did? Ugh. that was awkward. As a good sign I will say that I was highly impressed with
Thillis when I say him. He seemed very sharp and intelligent with his answers. I can't help but think but North Carlolina voters recognized that in the end.

They won't. They learned their lesson on hot points and if they don't they will never be in power again. I am just hoping my blacks get off the mantra of voting one party only regardless. That is stupidity.
