Election Day 2014

Negative ads by the Dems are doing them in. Colorado and here in Wisconsin, Emperor Palpatine sister (Burke) did not have a platform. All of her ads were just bashing Walker. Walker did not retaliate just provided facts and beating the tar out of her. He is one short dude when I talk with him, around 5'7" but Sen Ryan is tall, taller than me, easily 6'2 or 6'3 and Mrs. Kleefisch, her husband is one lucky man, she would put Palin to shame. She is a great person, very very smart, school oriented person and told me if I need anything to give her a call since she knows I work with the state and I didn't know some of my coworkers are on a first name basis with her as they have to work with her on state issues. When she asked what I do she was like wow, you are the one who do these nice reports. I got a pic with her.
 
Roberts was most likely win for the pubs in the margin of error states, imo and he pulled it off. Wish I would have said it earlier, but I'm still stung from that Romney defeat which I admit I learned a lot. But point is that this Roberts win is just huge for the balance of power in the senate.

But Roberts was up against an "independent", which we all know that the independent was a dem, but the problem for this independent is that he didn't have dem support in getting voters asses to the polls.

The strong showing in VA is also interesting. That's got to be a little disconcerting to the Ds. VA was turning reliably blue. Wonder how it will do in 2016 when Obama won't be on the ballot.
 
In our township we have 2600 people, when I went to vote, 1600 already voted. This is a heavily Rep area unlike Eau Claire which is Dem due to teachers and unions. Our two townships roughly around 7500 are 90% Republican (middle and upper class) so it offset the city (66000) because it is a college town and students don't vote.
 
I am happy because if the Dems won, I would pay more taxes, unions will get their dues back taking money from their workers, gas tax will increase, property tax will increase to pay for the state employees pensions which she was campaigning on. Tuition hike for students to pay teacher pension at universities. A minimum wage of over 10 and the businesses said if they did that they will go out of business. My work minimum wage is higher because of what we do. It is so good no one wants Obamanation care.

Burke is a disaster and the people knew it.
