Yet, somehow the government is spending more money than ever...

This is why I said I will judge DOGE by the end results not the claims made by serial gaslighters. I hope they cut a trillion or two but my bet is they cut 10 billion and just claim they cut 10 trillion.

Yup. If they actually reduce the deficit by a significant amount, I'm willing to put up with a fair amount of silliness.

I can cut probably about 150M a year from the Budget. Stop funding Trumps golf trips. If he wants to go to Maralago, he has to put up his secret service, not charge it to the federal government.

I agree with this for the most part. Trump and his companies should not be able to recoup a single penny from the American Taxpayer for any additional costs incurred for him choosing to spend his time at Mar-A-Lago instead of the designated sites we have for Presidents. I don’t care if he golfs every day of his Presidency or spends it all on his properties, but we shouldn’t be paying the President for that privilege.

Like all the presidents before him, I wish Trump would golf on our dime everyday of his term. Would be cheaper in the long run.

I mean, also very much this but I do think it’d be ideal if Trump weren’t also the person getting paid on the back end here.

Plus I think all presidents operate better on some R&R. It is an expense I'm happy to bear as a taxpayer.

Did you miss the CR bill vote?

I don’t expect miracles in 60, but if we come round again- in all for ejection of the highest order

To note- you didn’t see the funding of trans friendly libraries in DC, parks for LGTBQ in Bolivia, and stadium allocations like before

No, we’re just renovating the Kennedy Center and using military planes to deport migrants and sending a delegation to Greenland. Pork that’s more your flavor is still pork.

Sending JD Vance to have a press conference at a military base in Greenland despite the overwhelming disapproval of the citizens and government of Greenland is not what I’d consider useful spending.

Especially because it's expensive as hell to replace couches in foreign countries.

We know.

It should likely be spent sending more criminals away.

Miracles? The president wants to primary any republicans who voted against authorizing the Biden spending levels
