No. I didn't. Your failure to comprehend that is baffling to me.

If I say an event occurring weekly is too much, that's me saying that if something happens weekly (i.e. once per week), then that is far too common for my taste.

I then made a point that currently about 3 folks are dying per day at the hands of our police force.

You somehow aren't able to comprehend the two separate points.
 
Using sturg's and goldies' logic I should be scared to death of black people because 450-500 white people are murdered by blacks every year and none of those can be justified. Do you know why I'm not? Because it's not statistically significant.

No, you didn't say it but you're always implying that the police are out of control. If they are out of control we should be scared. Terrorism isn't the same because it's only low because of our diligent policies towards it. If libertarians such as yourself had your way terrorism would be rampant.

1 incidence per week should absolutely not be considered "common" when you consider how many (A) officers exist in this country (B) How many calls said officers respond to (C) How many of those calls are life threatening situations to the officers.

I suppose some on this board think a cops job is easy.

Well, that is extremely misleading. You can't take a number of incidents and project it to teh whole population. Most of us would never put ourselves in a position to get killed by a police officer so you need to understand how to use numbers for arguments. I can absolutely guarantee that a police officer will never kill be because of excessive force. Terrorists however target everyone equally.

The video above (Boston) - the folks committed the crime of being in their house. They had guns put in their face.

The video above (the gas station) - the guy committed the crime of obeying what the cop asked him to do.

Isolated incidents aren't reality. However, I agree the cops were wrong on both cases.
