USMNT roster for their matches in Europe has a little fun to it.

GK - Rimando, Cropper, Yarborough. Either Cropper or Yarborough you figure has a good shot to starting the game, or at the least one of them will replace Rimando at half for a match. Would be debuts for either of them.
DF - Alvarado, Brooks, Chandler, Garza, Orozco, Ream, Shea, Yedlin - Presents an interesting quandary. Do you play Shea to check in on his development or play Garza who's been fantastic for the USMNT so far?
MF - Bedoya, Bradley, Green, Ibarra, Fabian Johnson, Morales, Williams, Zardes - Few interesting things here. Mainly them calling Zardes a MF and Johnson a MF. Zardes is a forward for LA, seems like Klinsmann sees something else in him or wants to try something else. ALso really interesting that Klinsmann has taken such a shining to Ibarra.
FW - Jozy, Dempsey, Johannson, Rubin

Mix overall of experience (Jozy, Dempsey, Bradley Bedoya) moderate experience (Orozco, Chandler, Johnson, Williams, Johannson), young and talented (Yedlin, Brooks, Green, and Rubin) and some wild cards. I love Klinsmann's 23 man rosters because he seems to have a clear goal. He wants his leaders (Jozy, Bradley, Dempsey, etc.) but also wants kids to play, and to get longer looks at guys who intrigue him.

Top 7 is virtually locked in place as well. 8 games to go and Spurs are 10 points clear of Swans.

Overall looking at the table. 8 games left for all but Chelsea and Leicester

Chelsea all but have 1 locked up, 6 points up with their game in hand. City, Arsenal and United are within 2 points. Liverpool is now 5 points behind Man U, Southampton and SPurs 1 point behind thme.

Looking at relegation, Leicester is seemingly locked to the bottom, their Game in hand match against Chelsea isn't good. Adding a midweek match against the best team in the league isn't good. QPR doesn't look good, then the battle for the last spot where Burnley, Sunderland, Villa, and Hull are within 3 points of eachother.

Basically there's 4 battles to watch .THe battle for Europa, battle to try to get to 4th, battle between 2-4 and relegation.

Correction, scored 3

Still conceded 3 to Leicester who hadn't scored 3 or more goals in any point since September. And SPurs needed a penalty and own goal to get all 3 points.

I'm assuming you didn't watch. That or you are dumb.

Van der Vaart to join SPorting KC. Good catch for them. He's still got quite some use in him and he won't be as expensive as say Giovinco, Kaka, Gerrard, or Lampard. I imagine he'll sit being the front 3 in a new formation. Or maybe a totally new formation will happen. Who knows.

With Lampard and Diskerud, Xavi doesn't make sense to NYCFC, from what I read it sounds like NYCFC rejected him not he went elsewhere.

I also think NYCFC is gonna try to find a Giovinco type of young guy they can get and build value with. Chicharito is a name that pops to mind if he wants to reclaim some value for his essentially lost last 2 seasons.

Since there's no talk about Euro, just some thoughts from me.

Basically half way through now.

Czech and Iceland stunningly topping Netherlands.

Wales is top of the group for now, Israel or Belgium goes top with a win. Shocking is Bosnia is sitting 5th.

Spain, Slovakia, and Ukraine seem clear of the rest of the group.

England is 6 points clear of SLovenia and Switzerland.

Croatia, Norway, and Italy are seemingly well clear of the lower teams.

Other groups playing tomorrow.

Results are shaking up well for Spurs. Arsenal beating Liverpool was great, and right now Everton is leading Southampton. All they have to do is beat pitiful Burnley to move up to 5. They need to stack their points before they hit their 4 tough games where they have to go to Newcastle, Southampton and Stoke and host City. None of those are given points. Though usually you can get 1 at Stoke.

Man U in the drivers seat for 3rd. only 2 really tough games left, hosting Arsenal and at Chelsea

City still has Hammers, Spurs and Saints.

City could possibly fall out of UCL if they don't wake up.
