Venters showed why I was annoyed at pulling him too early in a few games we blew leads, which included runs charged to him after he came out. Venters is impressive. Great to win a game with the offense mostly sleeping. Even that winning run was a bit of a break. I'll take it. Great to sweep and end this trip so well.
 
Brach and Venters are two relievers we have that I like seeing the most in key spots. Huge pick-ups both by AA IMO. They are underrated.

he is proof you can win a division with a really bad manager, as we did that year everyone picked the Nats but we beat up on them. Gattis off the bench that year was doing what Culberson has done for us this year. When I think of Fredi I also never forget that huge lead we blew in Sept. That takes a really terrible manager to do that, even snit is not that bad (I hope, if we blow this lead I might rethink that lol).
 
Who would have thought we'd have a 7 game division lead on September 12th. This season has gone absolutely perfectly. Literally everything major has broke our way, but not in a luck kinda way. In a player development kind of way.

The midseason bullpen picks have been YUGE to say the least, save the Red Sox implosion.

But big time win in a game the Braves were playing houdini all game.
 
Would be nice if the Nats could sweep Philly but for fantasy purposes, i wouldnt mind a gem from Nola then the Nats come back on their pen :)
