Yeah i dont know about that one either. We have the better offense. SP is about even, BP slight edge to Brewers. It's a tight series. REALLY need to close it out in Game 4, want no part of seeing Burnes in a do or die game 5.

Brewers have a much better rotation, regardless of how Morton and Fried have pitched lately.

At this point, you are probably right. The postseason probably isn’t the best time to use players in roles they are unaccustomed.

These types of moves need to be made all the time. Players on the Braves will adapt, just like players on all intelligently managed teams adapt.

The Brewers have been to the playoffs just as many times as the Braves have the last four seasons.

Not that any of that matters. Experience is overrated. Talent wins games. Talent and luck win games in the playoffs.
 
So what is the preference tomorrow? Charlie on 3 days rest or pen game? My personal vote is Charlie on 3-days rest, I'm playing to win knowing that if it backfires you have Fried for game 5. Worst comes to worst he struggles early, and you just go to Ynoa anyways, so at least give it a shot. Also winning tomorrow vs. game 5 is huge just to get the rotation set for NLCS.

On line-up Pederson just has to be in it. Just has to. Gotta ride the hot hand, one at-bat is simply not enough
 
I’d prefer to see Minter announced as the opener, then go to Smyly or Ynoa based on how the Brewers stack the lineup. Morton can be available out of the BP to serve as the RHP weapon this team lacks.

Going that route also means the pitcher should only bat 1 time at most.

I mean, probably not but in the slim chance we made the WS, we would have the DH to use. It ruins innings in the NL, making it harder to have long rallies.
