Yes. Being able to mix and match based on matchups instead of forcing them all to start would be ideal. Having a team bench would be ideal. Just not sure if the money is there to really do that. Structuring the OF and FF will be the biggest questions in the offseason. As it stands now I don't think we can pencil in a single OF for opening day.

I do wonder with more analytical teams if much of what they do isn’t planned by people actually in the dugout. The Dodgers plan things really well. However the 9th inning pitching change probably it was probably more about confidence in Graterol than a scripted change for matchups.

Did using Scherzer to close give his arm a hangover? Looks like the "far superior" FO may have made an error.

Still can't believe that Roberts left LHP Urias in there to face Riley when he had RHP's Graterol and Jansen available. I mean, it's only the game on the line. Idiot.

Roberts must have been listening to Ron Darling going on and on about how great Urias is. BTW, Darling sure loves him some Dodgers, doesn't he?

I think Morton will pitch well but we have never been able to hit Walker B before. Maybe that will change Tuesday.

Right. With Urias, Roberts explained that on throw days in between starts he's having them essentially throw a bullpen by taking an inning or two on the mound.

Problem is that there's a huge difference between high leverage, huge adrenaline game situations and throwing a bullpen. Judging by how Scherzer was complaining of a dead arm, I'm gonna guess somebody is too smart for their own good.

How many years ago was Urias' surgery?

The Ferrari is riding down the sidewalk picking off street vendors and Vespas.

Love Duvall and Soler but I think Joc and Rosario would be the 2 I brought back. It would depend on Ozuna to and the DH. We have Acuna coming back in ST so one spot is already taken up. Soler and Ozuna would make this team to RH imo and I think they are both full time starters. Rosario and Joc would be my picks bc they can be swapped out here and there and not complain to much.
