Wasn't fried fortunate in the 1st though? Coming off his dodger start, this has to be concerning
 
Even if this game isn’t likely to be one, we can “win” game 3 tonight.

1. Keep it close so Dusty has to use his high leverage arms.
2. Max Fried goes 6 innings so we don’t have to use our long relief pitchers
3. Build Max’s confidence so he’s mentally ready to go for Game 6.

He’s gotta be tipping. I may be wrong, but it seemed that every hit ball was on a breaking pitch. It’s like they were keying in on that pitch and timing it, but Fried was making too good of pitches to make solid contact on.
 
The level of whiny sore loser cry babyness on this board is insane.

My god, sometimes good teams get beat by other good teams. It doesn’t mean Fried sucks all of a sudden.
