GDT 10/27/21: Braves @ Astros - World Series Game 2

You fckn people always want to make excuses for a **** performance and letting your team down…

Smoltz literally broke it down right as the game started as to what Houston likes to do and Fried pitched right to that. That “weak contact” led to a mental blunder that scored 2 runs…

Gurriel got a low fast ball over the plate to beat the shift. Call this for what it is…He’s not pitching well…God damn it’s ok to admit it.

It’s almost as if the Astros and Dodgers are the two best teams of the past decade. Weird to struggle in a 6 inning sample size against them.

I'm concerned. I saw a path if fried won tonight, but I don't have a good feeling about our pitching in 2 of the games in Atlanta. I feel ok about the pen game, but I have a hard time seeing any of our starters do well

Regular season you are absolutely correct..:except the calendar dictates those kind of starts are unacceptable..

It’s pretty silly to try and even glimpse a path. Everything in this post season has gone the opposite of what we think is going to happen.

Have you seen Houston’s options for games 3 and 4?

The Braves can lose and be okay. Houston had to win tonight.

Completely understand and don’t disagree. But we’ve found a way all year and I believe we’ll find a way one last time
