GDT 10/27/21: Braves @ Astros - World Series Game 2

We will score runs. But I would rather throw our not used bullpen guys. Save Mad and see if we can make a game and have them use their dogs.
 
Wonder if Fried is just wearing down from the long season or something. He doesn’t look close to where he was at the end of the regular season.
 
So, do you run fried out there to see if he can find it or do you rest him in hopes he'll be better in game 5?

Always too big? Before the Dodgers this year, he’s been a baller in the playoffs (he was great last year). Somethings wrong. He’s tipping pitches or something.

Kind of my point. I support the shift overall but when you’re facing good hitters who know how to take it the other way with two strikes, maybe you cut down a little bit. It’s been almost the exact same thing each time.
 
Yikes. Max decides it’s not important to pitch well and the offense, in need of a big inning, do that. You literally are supposed to be trying to win these games

That dude has the IQ of the seed I put into his mom last night. He’a funny, but that’s the only positive contribution he brings to the board. Generally not worth responding to.
 
I remember 3 years ago or so, fried got smashed early by dodgers, but settled in very well, and we actually won. Maybe this happens again
 
In Fried’s defense some BABIP there as well. Ironically first inning got rocket snd that inning had some bad luck. He needs to pitch through this not only for our pen but to try and find some form of rhythm
 
I realize folks want to cry about something, but the facts are Fried is allowing weak contact, and the defense had a little league moment.

Of course the usual mental midgets will fault Fried, but that’s because they lack the grey matter required to comprehend what actually happened.

Sometimes teams get fortunate and win games. So far that’s what the Astros are doing.
 
Of the Astros 6 hits, 4 have come on pitches out of the zone, mostly on medium contact.
