GDT 10/7, NLDS Game Two, Braves-Marlins (Braves up 1-0 in the series)

Disagree. Ian Anderson doesn't have the arm talent that that Touki, Newk, etc.. have but because of execution he's a better pitcher.

Tom Brady is an average athlete who some consider the GOAT solely on his ability to execute. You can have all the talent in the world, but without the ability to execute... you're just Newk throwing every 4th ball 5 feet outside of the zone.

this is an impossible argument.
Anderson has talents that Touki doesn't (ie being able to control his pitches).
Tom Brady is insanely talented.
being able to throw harder/farther does not make someone more talented.

I guess I don’t understand why he was allowed to face 2 RHH a 3rd time but not Anderson. Is there something in the splits that suggests now was the time to make the move?

Might be a semantic issue. The ability to hit spots could be "execution" but it could also be called "talent" by others. I'd certainly say Maddux's control was more than just executing. It was a talent.

?

Talent = something god gave you
Execution = something you worked tirelessly on

Isn’t execution part of talent though.

It's definitely semantics, which is why I was so confused by Super's retort.

Intelligence is a talent. Work ethic is a talent.

It’s funny to call Tom Brady an average athlete as if he’s the grocery store clerk haha. That made me chuckle.

Stupid decision to being on DOD. Anderson wasn’t in trouble and there hadn’t been much hard contact.

Someone help me out. Why was Ian deemed the beat bet to get out Berti and Aguilar, but not Anderson and Cooper?
