Aerch, you were like me around in 1991. This is nothing like that. This is more 2010, the year of Raw Dog (Brooks Conrad), the Baby Braves and all those seat-of-the-pants wins. In 1991, the Braves were in last place on June 25 and six games back on July 28.
August and September were insane because no one could believe what they were seeing.
Granted, the strength in this division could mean a bad week might put the Braves back into fourth place. If they come back from that kind of stumble, then the ghosts of '91 will be strong.

I’m wondering if he even goes to Philadelphia after throwing two innings today. He’s probably not available tomorrow, so may as well bring in a fresh arm. With Gohara up and Fried throwing today, this might be the Evan Phillips call up. Or they could bring Ravin back.

This cancels out the Cubs debacle.

This team and this season has been something special. We still have a long ways to go to see if this will hold up, but if it does, then it's a definite unexpected surprise. I know this has probably been mentioned and discussed on here multiple times in other threads, but if we just come close to sustaining this win-pace, and win 85-95 games this year, then we've definitely jumped ahead of the "schedule" by a year.
 
I didn’t catch this the first time around, but after Ozzie stormed the field he stole Eric Young’s helmet before chasing Dansby lol

I only want to follow young baseball teams. Once they get old and “professional”, trade them for the next batch of young scoundrels.
