GDT: 5/9 at Rays

It's a combination of two things. Neck is striking out only 8% of the time compared to the mid to low teens in previous years. Obviously putting more balls in play will help his numbers. And either by luck or design his launch angle has increased and instead of line drives for singles you are seeing doubles and homers.
Yeah yeah... I understand the results have changed, but typically when a guy has this drastic change you read stories about swing changes, stance, guy gets in shape, etc. All we have with Nick is a new fro lol

Despite the error, Acuna has been good in LF overall with us. He has looked bad at times doing so. But his range is fine and he came in with 1 DRS in left. Nothing special as far as saving runs. But he isn't costing us on defense at all.

I remember Acuna scaring the bejeezus out of me when he got turned around on the last out of a one run game in New York.

We've faced a lot of lefties of late, that has hurt Ender as he has had some issues vs them so far this year. But tonight he found a lefty he can hit.

Man... Albies swinging at first pitch probably is what makes him good, but it drives me crazy on at bats like that... weak little pop up with man in scoring position

Yes, that was what I was thinking about too. But the bottom line is he is catching the ball, outside of that one tonight.
