Frankly anyone with Chip is a bad combo, but yeah Byrd is better in short spurts on the sideline rather than constantly talking with Chip.

I get the sense Chip gets frustrated with Paul because he doesn’t talk enough. After the Flowers double, it was radio silence during the replay.
