GDT 6-7: Philadelphia Phillies (21-35) at Atlanta Braves (24-32)

That single by Swanson was amazing and hilarious to watch

Also, the adjustments he has shown on breaking stuff this game has been very encouraging

Get some bum like O'Flaherty out there in the 9th. There is no reason to waste a Motte, Johnson, Vizcaino, Jackson, Krol, Freeman, etc. Ramirez shouldn't even be out there, but I understand he was likely warming up when the game was 4-0.

I hope so, but, damn, my dude, you have said that pretty much every time he has gotten a hit for the past six weeks or so.

I'll be right soon then...

He's coming around. On may 1st, he was hitting .151 with an ops of .428. He's now hitting .205 with an ops of .609

I really hope Newcomb continues to improve at the major league level. A rotatation of Folty/Teheran/Newcome/Allard/Soroka could be one hell of a rotation. And if those guys falter we all know about whats in reserve.

Foltynewicz seems to have taken a solid step forward.

On pace for a 2-3 WAR season whether you like FIP or RA9. Either way Foltys development into an average or better starter is one of the things the Braves needed to happen this year. Hope he keeps it up.

Agree. He's got to be an avg starter or better. That stuff just screams more. I am still thinking he's Jeff Samarja.

Newcombe needs to be allowed to fail and work on things too, just like Folty did.
