What are you predicting for a typical Swanson season? 750 ops?

What's ironic is that if Dickey, Colon and Garcia all pitched more like league average pitchers then our team would have a similar record to what Coppy and Co were expecting when they signed those guys in the first place.

This team is going to be even better next season with the improved pitching. At this point the pitching is the only reason why we aren't a few games over 500.

Basically what i just posted. I don't think they misread where the team was at all at the start of the season. Now it just looks like 2018 has the expectation of playoffs IMO.

Hard to fathom it can be worse but i guess you never know in baseball.

A rotation of Newk, Folty, Julio, FA/trade SP, and Dickey or someone else is alot better than what we had to start the year.

Maybe. But you can also get regression or injury. Hard to get excited about any coppy win now move based on his track record. I'd be excited about allard and soroka but worried it's too early and the service time.

How do we know pitching is getting better?

Because I'm a belever inTeheran /Folty/Newk. Having Dickey here for another season is great and I feel we can muster a fifth starter easily. Bullpen will be better with the promotions from the farm.

I don't see how the 2018 team is not a 85+ win team.
