GDT 7-29: Braves at Royals Game 2

If Snit knew he was having any degree of discomfort yesterday and still played him tonight, that’s unacceptable
I’m assuming this was relayed to the front office too. And even if it wasn’t, AA is the one who keeps this shit for brains employed.

So they are doing an MRI and Ronald was in tears. Well shit that sounds horrible. Hoping there isn't a tear but he should be done in the outfield for the rest of the year.
I don't think he needs to be allowed to walk the rest of the year. Put him in a wheelchair.

If he jogged off the field, I doubt it’s a tear. Has that ever happened before? I doubt it.

Doesn’t matter anyway. Letting him of all people go out there after he told you it was tweaked is malpractice.

I both think that (a) it’s not a tear, and he’ll be ok after rest and treatment and (b) it’s unconscionable that the staff didn’t overrule him playing today. Bubblewrap him until 2026 and start selling the pieces that make sense to sell. And quit trying to make “Venezuelan Trout” a reality in the absolutely wrong way.

Yes he should not see the field again rest of the season. Problem is this dumbass might go back home and play pickup games with friends.

I’m not sure how anyone can justify snit remaining in control of this team.

The #1 priority is to keep Acuna and strider healthy into 2026. Period. Literally nothing else matters at this point. And he likely failed at this very simple and straightforward task. Acuna is an extremely talented idiot, and the Braves need a non-idiot to manage him.

Snit has to go, now.

He's fine....good grief...Yall lose sight of the fact that he's still a 27 year old kid who has a habit of embellishing everything....

He’s not fine. It’s likely not a tear, but he’s not fine. You don’t let him go out there with a strained achilles and risk it, especially during this season. That’s the entire point.
