I am the just as big of fan of his glove as the next person...But there were many times in this season when we needed his bat more than his glove..

They've made plenty of bad decision. Difference is, they can afford to throw more money out and hope that it works the next time. Braves don't have that luxury.

Niners, you would be ****ting on Wren's face right now if he were paying Carl Crawford whatever it is the Dodgers are paying him. Or $22 mil for what Gonzalez does. Or Dnre Ethier for not even playing.

I'm not seeing your point. Your entire argument was the Dodgers make better spending decisions than the Braves completely ignoring the fact they outspend us at a 2:1 ratio and have the luxury of adding albatross contracts and replacing them with bigger albatross deals. Then you bring up the Cardinals and Brewers and that still has nothing to do with what you said about the Dodgers.

Why are the Phillies so awful if the only thing that matters is money? Why are the Yankees not better? Why has Oakland had the best record in baseball nearly all season long?

When you compare Wren to other GMs in the league you realize just how much better they are than him.

Because you and your ***got pussy crying brigade always bring up money as an excuse. There are other teams with less resources than Atlanta and do more than the Braves do.

But they aren't near worth their price tags. If we could pay someone like Gonzalez 22 mil and not break a sweat, **** it, I would do it I guess. Doesn't make it fiscally smart.
