Was not surprised if it were Newcomb. He is emotional and I like that.

Now Kranitz need to show his zen and have Newk focus. He has some awesome stuff to be honest, better than the three stooges we got. I think the guys in the minors can do better. They blew a few of our games and made several close when we had big leads.
 
Everyone needs to relax. Yes last night was the worst loss of the year and it stings. But we're still in first by 6.5 games. Just like our hot streak in June didn't last forever, neither will the Mets hot streak. That's baseball. The fact that we are playing very inconsistent and got the worst possible scenario from our bullpen, yet still taking care of business is admirable. Our next hot streak is right around the corner.

Also are we overreacting to splitting with the Reds? That team just smoked the Cubs two games in a row. They are actually a good team.
 
Hopefully we hit Mets at the start of our next hot streak while theirs starts to end... throwing Keuchel’s clunker out... I’m pretty optimistic about the rotation now if Folty can keep that slider effective. Soroka and Fried have adjusted and Fried looks like he could take the next step

He is right, the worst loss of the year thanks to the two of the three stooges.

Hey, Dr. Scheff what do we do, you are actually good at this, minor leagues or those with the team. I like Newcomb, but he tends to get unwind but with amazing stuff of 95 to 100 mp fastball and nasty stuff but if the ump is squeezing him, he like Folty gets mad and lose it.

The players tend to mouth off at the umps and say their piece, but I have not seen one get tossed yet. And Snit will not go out and protect them.

Bobby Cox would have been ejected maybe a dozen times this year. I love the guy to be honest for his passion.

What do we do?

We realize the BP is currently getting BABIP’d to death.

We realize the Braves are a good team in a 5-5 stretch.

We realize the Mets are a less good team in a 9-1 stretch.

We hope Snit starts utilizing platoon advantages better to squeeze out more offense.

We hope Snit stops trying to find a “closer” every 3 games and uses a matchup BP.

We realize all teams are a relative long shot in the playoffs.

In short, we snuff out stupidity, and enjoy a talented roster.
