GDT 8/14/20 - Fillet the Fish

I think the Braves’ rebuild has gone decently well, but that lack of quality pitching options in what is supossed to be the system’s strength is somewhat damning. Hopefully, it’s just growing pains.

I mean it’s not really a rotation. There is one guy that was supposed to be in the rotation. I think they should bring up Weigel and Davidson. Keep running someone out there until they earn it. It literally can’t be any worse.

Wright has the stuff...not sure he doesn’t need to be sent down, because that was as bad as Newk the other day.
 
Wright is just baffling. You hear of guys who just know how to pitch. Wright is not that guy.

He's got good enough stuff to be an excellent pitcher and his control isn't bad. He just has no clue how to attack hitters.
 
TD’s offense is clearly superior but I’d take Flowers almost every game on framing and defense alone. His bat is good enough
 
Why even go for the throw with two outs. The Marlins haven’t even played well...just scoring off mistakes and walks.

We are very dead after a day off. Need Acuna and Albie’s energy horribly.
